2024 marks the 75th anniversary of our company. From its inception, Roark has been fabricating sophisticated shapes utilizing many various metals, including exotic metals. Our clients have come to trust Roark for unmatched expertise and technical skill within the arena of complex metal fabricating and look to us for an in-depth understanding of their unique applications.
Our story begins with John Landis Roark, a blacksmith operating in Brownsburg, Indiana during the early 20th century. His son, Charles Fred Roark, took an interest in metal fabrication and founded C.F. Roark Welding and Engineering in 1949.
In 1980, Fred’s son, Charles Ted Roark began working in the family business. Today Ted is the president at Roark. Under his leadership, the company has expanded to four facilities operating in the Midwest and east coast. Roark operates the largest EB Welding service in the U.S.
Today, the great grandchildren of John Landis Roark are working for the company, as well as 110 employees. They help continue our heritage of providing complex metal engineering, welding and fabrication services throughout the past 75 years.
